47º SYMPOSIUM BME PURCHASING AND LOGISTICS

Portugal and PORTUGALPLUS project, held from 25 to 28 September and in which the Group Sacia participated, are the exclusive partners of BME Symposium, an event information and networking of the German Association of Buyers and Logistics. This is the largest convention of buyers in Europe, with around 2300 participants, and once again the Group Sacia by invitation of the Portuguese-German Chamber, marked his presence.
This symposium held from 7 to 9 November in Berlin and had as its theme the Purchasing and Logistics in the current international landscape of uncertainty on economic growth. Were discussed issues such as cost optimization and sustainability of supply sources, particularly in the area of raw materials and energy. With the presence of international companies for logistics and consultancy, were in debate the most innovative logistics strategies and best practices in the field of acquisitions and purchases.

This event will appear reported in an article in the journal BIP whose circulation is 15,000 copies and 8500 will be distributed to members of BME and the other multipliers

ROADSHOW PORTUGALPLUS 2012

The project PORTUGALPLUS emerged as a response of the Portuguese-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the imperative need of Portuguese companies to increase their exports. The Roadshow PORTUGALPLUS initiative came under this project and aimed to identify business partners for the participating companies as well as enhance the image of Portugal as a country entrepreneur, able to occupy a prominent place as an important supplier for some of the most demanding industries in the world. Was attended by the President of the Portuguese-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministers of Economy of Portugal and Germany.
It was with great satisfaction that the Group Sacia joined the group of Portuguese companies present at this event, which was held from 25 to 28 September 2012 in the four German cities (Berlin, Essen, Munich and Stuttgart) and where stated the quality, innovation capacity, competence, seriousness and honesty of the Portuguese business with German buyers and decision makers.

SACIA SME LEADER 2012

SACIA, SA was distinguished by IAPMEI(Portuguese Agency for SME and Innovation, under the Ministry of Economy and Innovation) as a SME 2012(Small and Medium Enterprises) Leader under the FINCRESCE program.

STUDY VISIT

On 7 February SACIA/Silencor received a visit from a group of students from CET in Technical Higher Quality, Environment and Safety, School of Technology and Management of Oliveira do Hospital.
The purpose of the visit was to hold a training audit the Environmental Management System ISO14001, framed by the training unit and Environmental Audits.
